FLOOR-BARRE® CERTIFICATION SEMINARS

Prior to 1998 trained Floor-Barre® teachers taught under the umbrella of Zena Rommett Floor-Barre Foundation: Among them Robert Atwood, the late Douglas Bolivar, Dawn Hillen, the late Ernie Pagano, Pamela Pribisco, Camille Rommett, Michelle Starbuck, and Marguerite Wesley. In 1998 the Floor-Barre® Foundation, orchestrated by Camille Rommett inaugurated an annual Congress to train certified teachers to teach Floor-Barre® independently. These annual Congresses are meant for all certified Floor-Barre® teachers, teaching independently worldwide to return annually to refresh, reflect and renew the Floor-Barre® practices along with Floor-Barre® mentors. During the bi-annual congress, held in August at City Center and Florence Dance Center, Italy. Floor-Barre® teachers worldwide assemble to be me 1. Teachers with valid and current certification may then legally teach Zena Rommett’s copyrighted© material world-wide on their own reconnaissance and legally use the registered trademark™ of Floor-Barre® held by Zena and Camille Rommett, provided that the following conditions are met: 2. A Floor-Barre® teacher must be certified by The Zena Rommett Floor-Barre® Foundation during its bi-annual summer Congresses. 3. A Floor-Barre® teacher, after initial certification, must renew certification in August if he or she intends to teach Floor-Barre® anytime on his own reconnaissance during the twelve months following. 4. Non-renewal of certification for more than one year renders certification out of date and the teacher’s certification would be deemed inactive. 5. A Floor-Barre® teacher must acknowledge Zena Rommett as trademark-holder and copyright-owner in all advertisements/announcements. Suggested wording: “John Doe is an active, certified Floor-Barre® teacher in good standing with Floor-Barre® Foundation, the registered trademark holder under US Patent Law, teaching copyrighted curriculum, Zena Rommett, Copyright-owner.” 6. Floor-Barre® teacher must maintain an active web link with the Zena Rommett website so that a representative of Zena Rommett Floor-Barre Foundation may from time to time observe such public classes. Floor-Barre® is a registered trademark with the United States Patent Office by the Zena Rommett Floor-Barre Foundation for its sole use worldwide. All movement/written material for Floor-Barre® is copyrighted under US copyright laws. The term (or any variant) of Floor-Barre® and copyrighted material© are the sole property of the Zena Rommett Floor-Barre Foundation and can be used only with written permission from Zena Rommett Floor-Barre® Foundation.
